Held during the second week of August, Steinkjermartnan is a traditional highlight running from Wednesday evening through Sunday. During the day, the market streets buzz with life, featuring diverse market stalls, a funfair, and entertainment for all ages. As evening approaches, the energy ramps up with concerts and live music downtown, culminating in a square party and dance on Saturday. Martnan gathers people from near and far, offering a delightful glimpse into Trøndelag hospitality and culture.
